Souvenirs from trips to the Emirates.
I’m working these dolls just as real characters, dressing them and doing their hair with pearls and gold leaf. They all have a special story to tell, and are connected to my own past «sewing» life.
Every piece is unique.
Without playing with contrasts in the construction of the canvas. The summer girl (5ft/4,13ft) and The winter girl (4,26ft/3,28ft) are differently dressed in light, showing in the winter’s whiteness the beautiful cold colours, and in the summer’s sweetness a slightly warmer hue. And because each of us has his own favourite season, the autumn girl is followed by the spring girl.
